Founded in 2001, Hamline Midway Elders is a neighborhood based organization that provides services to help seniors remain independent in their own homes.
Here's exactly what we do...

We assist seniors with daily living by arranging transportation, meal and grocery delivery, shopping, seasonal chore assistance, telephone reassurance, friendly visits, volunteer respite, caregiver support and opportunities for socialization. We also provide referrals for delivery services and minor home repairs and modifications and counseling. When necessary, we arrange appropriate nursing and home health aide care through Recover Health. The number of seniors we serve each year is around 175 with 30-40 new persons served added each year.
- We engage volunteers to help us with the above listed activities as well as our educational and social events. Each year, about 125 people volunteer with us, such as the one pictured here!
