The Como Park Living at Home/Block Nurse Program was founded in May of 1993 by District 10 resident Audrey Roedl.  Since then, the program has continued to grow.  We are supported by private donations, grants, and a combination of city, county, and state funding.  We provide services to residents aged 65 and better in the Community of Como Park as well as areas of Falcon Heights.

With the Spirit of "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" we provide a spectrum of services bringing neighborhood health professionals, volunteers, caregivers and community leaders together to provide quality, long term care.

Our Program currently supervises over 90 volunteers and provides services to more than 175 neighborhood seniors.  Through our Caregiver and Respite Program, we provide caregiver support, information, counseling or respite to over 200 caregivers.
